and has been run as a Japanese kindergarten for 70 years
― About Us ―
We are a Japanese kindergarten and education is done in Japanese.
But we have staff that can communicate in English.
We welcome children
of different nationalities.
And we hope
a lot of children, regardless of
their backgrounds, can interact
with one another,
play and grow together.
― Basic Statement ―
Our education is based on Christianity, which is our priority.
Children learn
how deeply they are loved by God, through daily Bible&worship time.
Knowing God’s love nurtures
their hearts to love not only themselves, but God and others.

Children are exposed to lots of
play time. In classroom, there are various sections where they can draw pictures, play house, play
with building blocks and so on. Outside, they can also
enjoy swings, slide, sand play
and catching bugs. By playing freely, children can develop important abilities: concentration, patience, critical thinking, imagination, and creativity.

We have a fairly wide playground
and a beautiful green garden,
where children can catch bugs
and enjoy the nature.
We adopt multiage education.
Children in different age groups
play and interact together and
build strong relationships.
We offer Japanese calligraphy
lessons and gymnastic lessons
for a small fee.

2- year-olds Tsubomi class ( flower bud )
3-year-olds Yuri class ( lily )
4- year-olds Bara class ( rose )
5-year-olds Sakura class ( cherry blossoms )
― Nursing Days & Time ―
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
9:00～15:00 (Lunch required)
Thursday 9:00～12:00 (Snack day)
Friday 9:00～15:00 (Lunch required *)
(* Mothers cook lunch about 15 times a year)
Sunday 9:00～10:00 (Sunday school **) (** Attendance is optional)
We are closed Saturdays, Sundays,
National holidays and some other days
according to own schedule
― Extended hours ―
To further support parents, we offer extended hours of nursery till 17:00, from age 3.
The service is available, to a certain extent, in Summer, Winter, and Spring holidays as well. When using the service, an additional fee is added to the standard fee.
